Upon the defence of Cornella, Cornella 0-2 Barcelona: Players rated, thanks to Ousmane Dembele's extra-time heroic spare Blaugrana blush
Barcelona worked hard for a 1-0 victory by a firm UE Cornella team on the hard court of the Copa Kings earlier today. Segunda B Snow shocked Atlético Madrid in the last round and almost pulled an overwhelming Barcelona team from another robbery.
Ronald Coleman rested several first-team stars to keep the team fresh before the busy schedule. Barcelona created several opportunities throughout the game, but surprisingly missed two penalty kicks and had to rely on Osman Dembelle's excellent blow in overtime to win the game.
Barcelona fought Cornella's tenacious Defence.
Barcelona dominated the ball at the beginning of the game, but tried to cross the deep block of Conera. Miralum Pianique and Ricky Puig have seen many goals, but they can't unlock Conera's firm Defence.
The best opportunity for the opening half hour was surprisingly for Segunda B, but Ronald Araujo's inaccurate completion and good Defence also avoided Barcelona's blush. The Catalan Giants did win the penalty at the end of the first half, but the score remained at halftime with the amazing rescue of Cornera goalkeepers.

Barcelona was more purposeful at the beginning of the second half, and Martin Breswett instinctively tested the Cornela goal. Cornela continued to throw the players behind the ball, but ordered a penalty kick in the second half. Osman Dembele went to the scene, but was defeated by another save while Cornela stayed in the game. Barcelona created several opportunities towards the end of the game, but it could not avoid extra time.
Osman Dembele stepped onto the Catalan plate and found the back of the net with a strong blow in the first two minutes of the Catalans, giving Barcelona a lead. Towards the end of the game, Cornera was reduced to ten, and Pedri and Martin Breswett took full advantage of the Catalan digital advantage, adding some lustre to a difficult victory.
RamĂłn Juan RamĂrez - 7.5/10
RamĂłn Juan RamĂrez followed his baffle in a truncup in Tinco, and in addition to scoring a goal at the beginning of the first half, he also awarded an excellent penalty kick. Cornela shooter sent another penalty kick in the second half and enjoyed the most memorable 90 minutes of his life. RamĂrez could have done better in the strike of Osman Dembele, but his performance would have been generally satisfactory.
Polmoreno - 6/10
Pol Moreno successfully blocked Antoine Griezmann's shot in the opening match. The defender made several important interceptions, which was the thorn of the Barcelona side.
Albert Eströs - 5/10
Albert Estres admitted the penalty, and fortunately Barcelona did not make full use of their chances. The defender was sent off the field towards the end of the game for his rash tackle to Ronald Araujo.
