1. Musk was born in South Africa on June 28, 1971 to Mayi, and Erol Musk also gave birth to Kimbor (brother) and Toska (sister).
2. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 with a degree in economics and physics.
3. Two days after receiving his doctorate in applied physics and materials science, he just dropped out of Stanford University. His decision to pay off after Zip2, a company he founded after dropping out of school, was acquired by Compaq for $307 million in 1999.
4. The companies he created and co-created include Zip2, PayPal (X.com), and ?? Vanilla Foundation, SpaceX, Tesla, SolarCity, OpenAI, Neuralink, The Boring Company and Thud.
